The interview unveils notable achievements at KU Leuven in 2022, where researchers contributed by reporting approximately 200 research findings to the Intellectual Property (IP) department. This effort resulted in the successful granting of 144 patents, significantly bolstering KU Leuven's portfolio, which now boasts 825 active patent families.
