Are you a Research Manager working in Europe? Participate in this survey to help support the work of RM ROADMAP as they aim for a better understanding of the current state of research management in Europe.
The survey aims to explore:
- Defining the Profession: We aim to develop a more inclusive definition and terminology for Research Management professional categories.
- Career Development: We are working towards the formulation of an overarching career development framework for Research Managers.
- Skills and Competence: We want to create a skill and competence matrix tailored to Research Management.
- Future Training scheme: We are planning to develop a comprehensive training scheme for future Research Managers.

Collected data will be shared via online open access repositories (Figshare and Zenodo) after thorough anonymisation. Results of the research will be also published open access in research reports and possibly in peer-reviewed scientific publications which shall include the characterization of the national professional communities. Thus, it is also important to ensure a representative participation of the national professional communities in the field of Research Management.
The deadline to complete the survey is 22 December 2023.
