KT SoftSkills
Duration of the project: December 2022 – November 2025
The KT SoftSkills project, co-funded by the European Union, aims to enhance the soft skills of Knowledge Transfer (KT) professionals to foster effective collaboration between academia, the business sector, and community organizations. The project commenced in December 2022 and is structured into three phases: conducting interviews with KT professionals to identify their soft skill needs; testing and validating a set of soft skills through interviews and focus groups with KT professionals and experts; and developing a training programme and toolkit to improve KT professionals' soft skills based on insights from the previous phases. By strengthening skills such as communication, negotiation, empathy, critical thinking, and adaptability, KT SoftSkills aims to make academic knowledge more accessible and to build effective, inclusive partnerships across various sectors.
